- Hyper- or hypothyroidism (over- or underactive thyroid glands)
- Severe kidney disease and uremia (kidney failure causing build up of toxins within the body)
- Amyloidosis (build-up of a starch-like substance in the body’s tissues and organs)
- Lyme disease
- Damage to spinal nerves
- Rheumatoid arthritis
- Sjögren syndrome
- Pregnancy
While that may be the case, we can usually resolve it by giving a multiple magnesium protocol. Its that easy. Now while it may not the solve the problem for everyone, it is a safe, simple protocol that has a great probability, so why not.
Another possibility that isn’t listed with Western medicine and is an easy solution, is a deficiency in GABA. The major inhibitory neurotransmitter. You can buy GABA, like magnesium, from a health food store. Again, no negative side effects, and it is cheap and easy to do.
Additionally, good healthy gut microbiota can also make GABA for you…Lactic acid bacteria (LAB) such as the Lactobacillus, Bifidobacterium and streptococcus can all produce GABA from GABA enriched fermented foods.
